# Organizational Structure

### Matsuri Foundation

The Matsuri Foundation functions as the initiator of the project.

**Main Roles:**

* Supporting and partnering with event organizers worldwide
* Organizing and collaborating on various events
* Planning, supporting, executing, and managing fundraising
* Developing new cultures and conceiving broad-scale movements, etc.

While we will take a leading, centralized role in launching and promoting the project, we plan to gradually delegate authority to the DAO as the scale of Matsuri expands. For details, please see the Community and Governance page.

**Main Roles:**

* Community management utilizing know-how, event planning, hosting, collaboration, and all other activities.
